AL East teams moneyline faves Wednesday

Two undefeated starters go head-to-head on Wednesday when Cleveland's Cliff Lee takes the mound versus the Yankees' Chien-Ming Wang.
Lee has been a pleasant surprise for Cleveland, which has suffered a number of other less pleasant surprises so far such as a lack of offensive support recently and an abysmal start to the season by Cy Young winner C.C. Sabathia.
Lee has started the season 5-0, with a microscopic 0.96 ERA. In his last start Lee allowed more than one run for the first time this season, allowing three runs on eight hits over eight innings to Seattle. That was still good enough to record the win.
Wang has been the lone bright spot in the Yankees' patchwork rotation so far this season. In seven starts Wang is 6-0 with a 3.00 ERA. Wang faced Cleveland two weeks ago and held the Indians scoreless over seven innings with a season-high nine strikeouts.
The Yankees opened as -140 moneyline favorites at online sportsbook , which means you earn $10 for every $14 you wager.
Looking ahead to Thursday, Boston and Detroit will both send their No. 1 pitchers to the hill with Josh Beckett starting for the Sox and Justin Verlander getting the call for the Tigers.
Beckett may finally be getting over his early-season back troubles after allowing four runs on seven hits over eight innings in a win over Tampa Bay in his last start.
Verlander has looked nothing like the pitcher that won 17 games last season. Verlander has been hit hard repeatedly this season resulting in a 1-5 record and a 6.28 ERA. Verlander may finally be turning things around after holding Minnesota to four runs on seven hits in seven innings in his last start.
He still took the loss in a 4-1 Detroit defeat, but it was a step in the right direction as compared to the beatings he's taken earlier this season.
Boston opened as a -120 road favorite on the moneyline, meaning you earn $10 for every $12 you risk.
