Weekend baseball totals betting tips

Total bettors may have a chance to rake some easy cash this weekend, as there appears to be both an easy OVER play and an easy UNDER play on the schedule.
The obvious OVER play for total bettors is the Yankees/Angels series. To say the Yankees have been an OVER machine lately would be an understatement. In their last 10 games the Yankees have gone OVER the total eight times.
The number opened at 9.5 at most shops, including oneline sportsbook and others.
Plus, in one of their UNDERs a whopping eight runs were scored, but the oddsmakers had it covered by setting the total extra high at 12. The Yankees faced the Angels in Los Angeles just last weekend in a four-game set in which the combined score went OVER the total in three games.
The Angels also have gone OVER the total in six of their last 10 contests. The way the Yankees and the Angels are swinging the bat right now three OVER plays looks like a smart move this weekend.
For UNDER players the series to bet on this weekend is Cleveland at Toronto. The Jays have been one of the biggest UNDER teams in the league all season, with an overall OVER/UNDER record of 45-62-7.
The total also opened at 9.5 on this game at , where you can also take part in sports contests with $100,000 prizes and more.
In their last 10 games the Jays have been consistent UNDER-achievers, with an OVER/UNDER record of 1-8-1. Toronto's offense still has trouble scoring more than four or five runs per game, while their pitching has continued to post one of the best ERAs in all of baseball.
Put those two together and you end up with plenty of UNDERs. In the most recent meetings between the Jays and the Indians, not surprisingly, the UNDER has come through a lot. In their last five matchups the combined score has fallen UNDER the posted total four times. The only time it went OVER was when Toronto's slumbering offense actually woke up for one game in a 12-0 clobbering.
Look for the UNDER parade to continue to roll through Toronto this weekend. Watch the totals move in the live MLB odds section here at .
