Kim leads WGC-Bridgestone Invitational odds

There will be a new champion at Firestone Country Club for the first time in four years this week, as the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational gets started on Thursday.
Tiger Woods won at Firestone in each of the last three years, and he also three-peated there from 1999 to 2001 to total six career wins in this event. It was no contest last year, as Woods was the only player to finish under par after shooting eight-under.
Justin Rose and Rory Sabatini tied for second, eight strokes back at even par.
With Woods out for the year the last winner of this event in this week's field is Stewart Cink, who won in 2004. Cink may not have to compete with Woods this year, but he'll still have to contend with the rest of the top golfers in the world. Cink is available at +700 odds at .
Receiving the best odds at are Phil Mickelson and British Open champ Padraig Harrington, both at +200. Mickelson has won at Firestone before, but it was more than a decade ago in 1996.
Last week on Tour, Chez Reavie was a surprising winner in the Canadian Open. Reavie shot 17-under to beat Billy Mayfair by three strokes. That was Reavie's first win on the Tour, and it earned him a spot in the field at Firestone this weekend.
Also worth noting in last weekend's Canadian Open was the play of Anthony Kim. Kim, who already has two wins to his name this season, was in contention on the final day before shooting an awful four-over 75.
Kim also played himself out of contention a week earlier in the British Open, and he may not be ready to enter golf's elite just yet. At , a sports betting exchange where you can get the best golf odds anywhere, Kim is available at +600.
