The PGA Tour gets what'll probably be their last Tiger-free major in quite a while this week when the PGA Championship gets underway at Oakland Hills.

It's likely a good thing for the rest of the field that Woods won't be teeing it up this week. Woods has won the PGA Championship in each of the last two years, with victories at Southern Hills last season and at Medinah in 2006.

With Woods out the favorite to win this weekend at is Phil Mickelson at 8/1. Mickelson has one PGA Championship win under his belt, having taken the trophy at Baltusrol in 2005. To win this week Mickelson will need to avoid a meltdown like the one he displayed at Firestone over the weekend.

In the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational last weekend Mickelson was in contention for the win before bogeying three of the final four holes to finish tied for fourth place. The eventual winner of last week's Invitational was Vijay Singh.

That was Singh's first win of the season, which may make him a smart pick for bettors this weekend as a 15/1 underdog. Singh is a two-time PGA Championship winner, in 1998 and 2004.

Also listed at 15/1 in PGA Championship odds at are British Open winner Padraig Harrington, Jim Furyk, and Sergio Garcia. All three will be looking for their first PGA Championship win this week.

Aside from Mickelson and Singh other former PGA Championship winners in this week's field include 2002 champ Rich Beem, 2001 champ David Toms (100/1), and 1997 champ Davis Love III (80/1).
