It wasn't pretty, but the Cleveland Cavaliers stayed alive with a win in Game 6 on Friday night. Now comes the hard part, as they have to do something no one has done yet in the postseason - win in Boston.
Despite shooting only 32 percent in Game 6 Cleveland pulled out a 74-69 victory as a 3-point favorite. LeBron James scored a game-high 32 points and added 12 rebounds and six assists. James also put on a poor shooting display, hitting only 9-of-23 shots, but he made up for it at the free throw line where he went 13-for-15.
James had to carry the Cleveland offense, as only one other Cavaliers player scored in double figures, with Delonte West chipping in with 10 points.
Kevin Garnett led the Celtics with 25 points and eight rebounds in the loss, as Boston also had a rough night from the floor, hitting only 39 percent of their shots.
Paul Pierce netted 16 points, but shot only 5-of-15, while Ray Allen also had a disappointing night with just nine points.
The loss dropped Boston's playoff road record to 0-6, and they're also 0-6 ATS away from home. Thankfully for Celtics fans Boston has posted the complete opposite record at home with a perfect 7-0 SU record at TD Banknorth Garden.
If Boston can maintain their perfect home record they'll move on to face Detroit in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Hornets were pegged as 4-point home favorites on the early line for this game at , with the total for the contest at 182.5 points.
The Celtics have never lost a series that they led 3-2 and have been dominant at home in Game 7s over the years.
