
The second week of the AFL season kicks off with a Friday night doubleheader.
In Game 1, the Georgia Force visits the Tampa Bay Storm. Over at BetUS the Storm are a 6-point favorite. The Force lost to Dallas 51-41 as a 5.5-point underdog last week, as QB Chris Greisen passed for 282 yards with four touchdowns and an interception.
Tampa Bay began their season with a 51-49 win over Kansas City as a 2-point AFL betting odds favorite. Torrance Marshall had four rushing touchdowns for the Storm in the win.
In the second game, the Columbus Destroyers take on the Dallas Desperados. Dallas is a 7-point favorite in this game at BetUS, coming off a 51-41 win over Georgia as a 5.5-point favorite in Week 1.
Dallas QB Clint Dolezel had six touchdown passes in the victory. Columbus lost to Colorado 50-47 as a 5-point underdog last week. Destroyers quarterback Matt Nagy recorded 225 passing yards and three touchdowns in the loss.
Week 2 continues on Sunday with four more games on the schedule. The early games include Utah at Cleveland (-3.5) and Philadelphia at Chicago (-2.5). That’s followed by Kansas City at New York and Orlando at New Orleans later in the afternoon.
