Hopkins won his Ring Light Heavyweight title by defeating Antonio Tarver via unanimous decision back in June 2006.
Since then he has made one title defense against Ronald “Winky” Wright in July 2007, which he also won by unanimous decision. Hopkins’ lifetime record stands at 48-4-1 with one no contest and 32 of those wins coming by knockout.
